San Mateo is located at the crossroads
of the Peninsula (Highway 92 and U.S. 101)
and is easy to reach from any location in
the Bay Area. Outstanding SamTrans bus
service, convenient CalTrain stations and
major highways running North-South (U.S.
101 and Interstate 280) and East-West
(Highway 92) make commuting easy.
SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit
District) offers bus service all over the
county, as well as express commuter
service to San Francisco. Special express
buses are also available to Monster Park.
CalTrain runs commuter trains seven days
a week from San Jose to San Francisco,
with three stations in San Mateo: Hillsdale,
Hayward Park and Downtown.

Airport, 3 miles south, serves executive and
company planes up to 12,500 lbs.
Bus: Greyhound Bus Line provides transcontinental
service; SamTrans provides city
and county service.
Water: Deep water port of San Francisco
20 miles north; Redwood City 6 miles south.
